Good news to Togolese citizens and residents who have to travel to Cotonou in Benin all the time for their visa application for Turkey. The country of Tayipp Erdoğan has finally opened its embassy in Togo.
Esra Demir has been officially accredited as Turkish Ambassador to Togo.
Togolese Head of State Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé received the diplomat’s letter of credence on Monday, April 26, 2021.
“There is a very great potential to be exploited within the framework of cooperation”, said Esra Demir at the end of the exchange with Faure Gnassingbé, before announcing an upcoming review of the framework agreements between Togo and Turkey, “to better strengthen the partnership in the economic and agricultural sectors”.
